The Volkswagen Golf (Volkswagen Golf) is a front- or all-wheel drive C-class hatchback. The eighth generation of the model was officially unveiled on November 24, 2019 in Wolfsburg.

“Evolution in appearance, revolution inside,” is one of the slogans under which the next Golf was presented. It is logical, because in terms of sales figures this model is the leader in the Volkswagen lineup. Therefore we can assume that the purpose was to keep the obvious external continuity with the previous generations, while making a big step in terms of technology.

The “eighth” Golf has got thinner radiator grille, on which the emblem of the brand stands out as advantageously as possible. The grille visually flows into the headlights, finding continuation in the pattern of LED daytime running lights. The same pattern is repeated in the design of the imitation exhaust pipes on the rear bumper. But the most recognizable is a “profile” of the hatch, the merit of it is almost unchanged forms of the side windows and rear struts. It’s worth noting the reduced drag coefficient Cd: 0.275 compared with 0.3 in the previous generation.
