At the top of the range is the most sporty R-version, now a separate modification (previously only the R-Line was available). Its 2.0-liter turbo engine EA888 evo4 develops 320 hp, and maximum torque of 450 Nm is available already from 2000 rpm. Torque is transmitted to all four wheels via a seven-speed DSG thanks to the more advanced R Performance Torque Vectoring all-wheel drive system (which distributes torque not only between the front and rear axle, but also between the rear wheels). The Agtheon R is easily distinguished by its sporty exterior (developed air ducts, the lower part of the grille in black and four real exhaust pipes) and interior (seats with integrated headrests). And also on the 20-inch wheels and large brakes with blue calipers.

Arteon can be equipped with adaptive cruise control Travel Assist (works at speeds up to 210 km/h, as well as when driving in traffic jams), a full package of electronic helpers, adaptive suspension, all-around cameras, panoramic roof, front seats with electric controls, heated, ventilated and massaged (driver’s), Harman Kardon 700-watt audio system, We Connect Plus services (control of some car functions via smartphone, travel statistics, online information on the road situation via eSIM network connection).
