Well, for such cases Volkswagen has prepared a Golf R Variant model. The “R” badge here means presence of the 320-horsepower 2.0-liter turbo engine (EA888 evo4) and the system of a full drive R Performance Torque Vectoring (distributes the torque not only between axles, but also between rear wheels). That is, if desired – and the activation of appropriate modes – the Golf R Variant can accelerate to the first 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds (launch-control) and pass the turn in a controlled drift (Drift profile).

The car from the factory is equipped with 20 mm lowered suspension with adaptive shock absorbers DCC and electronic differential simulation XDS. The basic braking system has 18-inch discs in front, calipers painted in the company’s blue color R-section.
