The Volkswagen Passat (VW Passat 2020) is a “D” class sedan with either front- or all-wheel drive. An officially restyled version of the eighth-generation model was shown in February 2019, but it made its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March of that year.

Having survived the planned update, the Passat has remained true to itself – it is still a fairly large, solid car with its conservative design. Restyling brought sedan slightly redesigned appearance: there are new bumpers with redrawn sections of foglights, the grille received modified horizontal bars, and the rear lights got another more fascinating “stuffing”. And one of the most important innovations is the new matrix optics IQ.Light. The peculiarity of this light is that the direction of the light beam can change depending on the situation, and the main beam, fully controlled by the matrix module, “beams” forward at a distance of 450 meters.
