Hatch is equipped with 15-inch front disc brakes (with calipers in red), lowered to 15 mm “sports” suspension and increased by 8 mm in front and rear wheels. Wheels with a huge for the size of the car 17-diameter wheels (designed by a department of Volkswagen R) “shod” in tires size 195/40 R17.

External differences from the standard VW UP! (besides the modifications listed above) are nameplate and branded red line in the aperture of the grille, a large glossy black insert in the front bumper, rear-view mirrors in the same color. A recognizable feature of the “profile” is the black line contrasting with the body color (also a signature feature of the first GTIs). The trunk door, as in the standard versions of the model, is executed in black, but here it is enlivened by a red line. Another “hint” about the more “aggressive” nature of the hatch is a prominent chrome exhaust pipe.
