In addition to a more powerful engine and advanced all-wheel drive system, this Golf is equipped with adaptive suspension DCC, lowered by 20 mm relative to the basic hatchback. And in comparison with the previous generation Golf R the rigidity of shock absorbers and anti-roll bar has been increased by 10%. In addition, the negative camber of the front wheels was increased (-1Β°20′) and the installation of an aluminum sub-frame allowed to save almost three pounds in the front suspension.
