The interior of the Passat only has a new steering wheel and disappeared from the front panel clock – the other innovations concern by and large the technological part. So, the Passat has received a new screen of the virtual dashboard which though became smaller in inches (11.7 vs. previous 12.3), but has appreciably added to the image quality. Central multimedia system, a 9.2-inch diagonal, is the new MIB3 with voice control and built-in SIM-ka. Of course, in a simpler version, as before, will flaunt touch-screen displays of 6.5 or 8 inches.

The updated Passat will also please with a new unified complex of the driver’s assistance called IQ. Drive includes such systems as emergency braking, keeping in a lane, monitoring of dead zones, parking assistant, adaptive cruise and even firm “pseudo” autopilot.
