Volkswagen Phaeton Owner's Manual
The Volkswagen Phaeton offers the comfort and sophistication of a luxury limousine. In its latest update, this model received several interior tweaks and some subtle visual changes. It has been presented as the ideal vehicle for luxury, and in a sense succeeds in doing so. The Phaeton is extremely comfortable, refined, and in the form of a long wheelbase, extremely spacious.
There is no need to make any confusing decisions about which engine should power your Phaeton, as Volkswagen offers only one choice – the 3.0-liter TDI V6 with 237 hp. The trunk volume is competitive for this segment, offering 500 liters. This is exactly the same figure as in the Audi A8 and BMW 7 Series. Long-wheelbase versions offer huge legroom for maximum luxury, but short-wheelbase models are by no means cramped.
The interior is luxurious and comfortable, with a huge amount of space in the back – especially in the long wheelbase form. On the move, the cabin is so well insulated that only occasionally you can hear a little engine noise, while there is almost no wind noise. Standard equipment includes 18-way adjustable massage seats, four-zone climate control and satellite navigation with Google Maps.
