Volkswagen Passat USA is a front-wheel drive sedan of class “D”. It is the second generation of the model created for the American market. The sedan premiered at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 14, 2019.

2012 was the first model year (the sedan was introduced back in 2011) for the American Passat. Since that time, the roads of the European and American versions have diverged. It’s all about the desires of local buyers. The American Passat has become a relatively large (it surpasses the European model in size) sedan with its own set of options for relatively small money.
