2024 VW Tiguan is a powerful and updated third-generation SUV based on the MEB-Evo platform. Models with front or all-wheel drive are available. The crossover impresses with its degree of digitalization, modern design and dynamic styling. The car offers a third row of seats, a full range of driver assistants and modern systems.

The infotainment system has been updated, and optional features are now provided as standard on the crossover. The car attracts attention with smooth body lines, and the developers used high-quality premium materials inside.

Advantages and disadvantages

The car provides a smooth, confident ride, modern driver assistant technology, touchscreen control of multimedia and other systems, as well as a spacious interior and luggage compartment. At the same time, users have identified some drawbacks, namely that the third row of seats is rather cramped.

Depending on the configuration, the cost of the car varies from 30 to 40 thousand US dollars. 2024 VW Tiguan is available in several configurations:

IQ.LIGHT optics are available, which increases the level of safety when driving, illuminates sharp turns and does not blind drivers of oncoming vehicles. The rear lights are combined into a monolithic unit.

The cabin now has a larger display with a diagonal of 12.9 or 15 inches. The dashboard is now 10.3 inches. Improved contour lighting adds a special atmosphere.

The interior is traditionally spacious. The dashboard has an intuitive interface.

2024 Volkswagen Tiguan Technical Characteristics

Under the hood of the 2024 VW Tiguan is the best option for a turbocharged 2-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine. Its power is 148 horsepower and torque reaches 299 Nm. There are also naturally aspirated engines with a displacement of 2 liters and a power of 204 and 265 hp. The manufacturer also announces available plug-in hybrids with 204 and 272 horsepower.

The list of engines also includes a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 129 or 148 hp. All models are equipped with a DSG robotic dual-clutch transmission.

Systems and driver assistants

The standard equipment includes 17-inch wheels, remote access, and parking sensors. The car also has climate control, adaptive lighting, and rain sensors.

Upgraded versions are available with 19-inch wheels, three-zone climate control, automatic parking, and improved sports seats that come with a massage option.
