2016 Volkswagen Polo Owner's Manual

The change of generations brought an upgraded look of the main blocks (steering wheel, design of the central tunnel, multimedia display, climate control unit), although the overall design is guessed retooled the previous dashboard. The most notable changes are the touchscreen multimedia display in a separate unit (6.5/8 inches, depending on the configuration), as well as optional virtual dashboard (with customizable image).
Powertrains remain the same. This is either an atmospheric petrol engine 1.6 MPI (90/110 hp and 155 Nm of torque), or 1.4-liter petrol “turbo four” (125 hp and 200 Nm). Pairing with the atmospheric is either five-speed “mechanics” or six-speed “automatic”, paired with a turbo – exclusively seven-speed “robot” with two clutches. As before, MacPherson struts are installed in front, and semi-independent design – in back. Road clearance increased up to 170 mm.
