VW Golf 8 GTI (Volkswagen Golf 8 GTI) is a sporty version of the front-wheel drive C-class hatchback. The eighth generation of the model. The model premiered on February 27, 2020.

Cult for fans of the brand Volkswagen nameplate “GTI” and in the eighth generation of the model traditionally denotes a more efficient engine, revised suspension, as well as changes in the design of exterior and interior models.

Under the hood of this GTI is a gasoline 2.0-liter TSI EA888 series (evo4 generation). Its output is 245 hp (in the range of 5000-6500 rpm) and 370 Nm (1600-4300 rpm). It works either with a six-speed “manual”, or a seven-speed “robot” DSG (DQ381). In the latter case, acceleration to the first 100 km / h takes 6.3 seconds, the maximum speed is forcibly limited at around 250 km / h.
